Wedding Hair

Please ensure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions below. This forms part of the agreement for wedding hair services between you and Margaux Salon.

 

Application of hair products 

It is your responsibility to notify us of any health complaint, skin complaint or sensitivity to any part of your face or body or hair that you are aware of at any time that the application of any products is due to commence. It is also your responsibility to ensure that any members of your party requiring hair services by us have notification of the same. 

We reserve the right to refuse to apply any products to any person whom she suspects of suffering from a health or skin complaint or sensitivity. 

 

Initial consultation 

Here we will discuss your hair needs and schedule both a practice run and wedding day services. Our contract and cancellation policies will be reviewed. Since summer weekend dates are always in short supply, we recommend you book your wedding services at least 6 months in advance. Your wedding will not be booked until we have a signed contract and deposit. 

 

Trial run for the bride 

This should be scheduled 2 to 4 weeks prior to your wedding. Bring everything you’ll wear on your big day, such as your veil, jewellery, and so on. At this appointment we will also review and finalise the number of attendants getting their hair done. 

 

Timings 

At the trial, we will agree with you a time to arrive and a time to leave on the wedding day. Proceedings often run late and an allowance will be built into the agreed timings. Should we be required to run over those timings due to lateness on the part of any of the bridal party or any other factor not of our making, then a payment of £35 per half hour will be payable. 

 

Photography 

At the trial, we will take pictures of the finished hairstyle. We will also take pictures on the wedding day of the hairstyle. These pictures may or may not be used on our website www.margauxsalon.co.uk, as part of a show reel which may or may not be used on instagram, Facebook, tiktok, linkedin or any other advertising which Margaux Salon undertakes. By booking our services, you are confirming that you have no objection to your photos being used in this way. If you object to your pictures being used, please inform us accordingly. 

 

Deposit & cancellation policy 

A full upfront payment is required to secure your appointment(s) and to reserve our stylist(s) for the wedding date. This deposit will not be refunded if the appointment is cancelled with less than 10 days’ notice. Deposits can be made by cash or credit card. If you would like to pay by credit card, we can email you an invoice and it can all be done online. 

 

Changes  

We do ask that should there be a need to adjust any of the appointments, that all changes are made 10 days prior to the date of the appointment. If changes are made within less than 10 days’ notice, you will still be responsible for the full amount stated above. 

You consent to having the deposit processed in full 30 days (or more) prior to the event date. I understand that the deposit will not be refunded upon cancellation unless 10 days’ notice is given. Changes to the bridal party total can be made up to 10 days in advance. After that, you understand that you are responsible for the total amount listed above and that no refund will be given to members of the wedding party who miss their appointment or change their mind on the day of the event. 

 

Limitation of liability 

Margaux Salon is not an insurer or a guarantor and disclaims all liability in such capacity. If you are seeking a guarantee against cancellation, loss or damage you should obtain appropriate insurance. 

All services are conducted on the basis of the information, documents and/or photographs provided by you. Services are for the benefit of you and anyone who you choose to provide services for under this contract. 

Margaux Salon is not liable to you or any third party for any actions or omissions outside the remit of the service supplied. Nor are we liable for any problems arising as a result of unclear, erroneous, incomplete, misleading or false information supplied. 

We are not liable for any delayed, partial or total non-performance of the services arising directly or indirectly from any event outside our control including your failure to comply with any of your obligations. 

Our liability in respect of any claim for loss, damage or expense of any nature, shall in no circumstances exceed the costs of services we have been contracted to provide. 

 

 

Severability 

If any one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Service are found to be illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired by this. 

It is your full responsibility to make sure that all members of my bridal party abide by the terms and conditions contained in this document. 

If you require a print out please let us know; otherwise, an email with your confirmation of consent is sufficient.
