Margaux Salon terms and conditions

1. WHO WE ARE

Margaux Salon operates boutique hair salons in London through two legal entities: Margaux Salon Holdings Ltd (14672391), which owns and operates the Highbury and Kentish Town salons, and Margaux Salon Group Ltd (16255533), which owns and operates the other Margaux Salon locations.
References in these Terms and Conditions to “Margaux Salon”, “we”, “us” or “our” include both companies and their subsidiaries, as applicable.


We use Phorest to manage bookings and payments, but your contract is directly with the relevant Margaux Salon company.

2. MAKING A BOOKING

2.1 Appointments can be booked online, by phone or in person.
2.2 A 30 percent deposit is required to secure every booking. Your appointment is not confirmed until this deposit has been paid.
2.3 By booking, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are able to receive the chosen service.

3. DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS

3.1 Deposits are credited towards your final bill when you attend your appointment.
3.2 If you cancel or reschedule with less than 36 hours’ notice, or fail to attend, the deposit is retained in full.
3.3 If we need to cancel, we will offer to rebook you as soon as possible or refund your deposit.
3.4 Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

4. LATE ARRIVAL

Please arrive on time. If you are late, we may need to shorten or adapt your service, and the full price may still apply.

5. PATCH TESTS AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

5.1 We only carry out patch tests for clients with virgin hair, known allergies, henna use, scalp conditions or medical considerations.
5.2 It is your responsibility to inform us of any such conditions before your appointment.
5.3 Margaux Salon accepts no liability if you fail to disclose relevant information.

6. PAYMENT

6.1 We are a cashless business. Payment is accepted by card or other approved electronic methods only.
6.2 Prices are listed on our website and in-salon menu and may change without prior notice.

7. GIFT VOUCHERS

7.1 Vouchers can be used only at Margaux Salon locations and cannot be exchanged for cash.
7.2 Unless stated otherwise, vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
7.3 Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

8. COURSES AND PACKAGES

8.1 Courses or prepaid packages are valid for the duration specified at purchase.
8.2 Missed or late-cancelled sessions may be deducted from your balance.
8.3 Courses and packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

9. LOYALTY PROGRAMME

9.1 Clients earn one loyalty point for every pound spent on services or products.
9.2 Points can be redeemed for selected free services listed in our app or on our website.
9.3 Points have no cash value and are not transferable.
9.4 We may change or end the programme at any time with reasonable notice.

10. CONDUCT AND REFUSAL OF SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse service if a client behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive or otherwise unacceptable, or where a service would be unsuitable.

11. LIABILITY

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Please inform us promptly if you are dissatisfied so that we can resolve the issue.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot be limited by law.

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms periodically. The version in force when you book applies to your appointment.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
